Questions about United Pacific 42036
Does 42036 only fit Freightliner Century?
No. Century is listed for 1996–2010, and the manufacturer also names 2001–2010 Coronado and 2002–2013 Columbia. Match the existing cover and mounting hole on the actual truck.
Does the set include driver and passenger covers?
Yes. United Pacific specifies both sides in the two-piece set.
Are the covers stainless steel?
No. They are injection-moulded plastic with a triple chrome-plated finish.
Does installing the covers require a different mirror-post mounting hole?
The manufacturer specifies replacement of the original cover using the same mounting hole. Compare the original arrangement first; a changed mirror post is outside that assumption.
Does this replace the mirror glass or mirror post?
No. Part 42036 is the bottom cover set only. Glass, complete mirror assemblies and structural posts are separate parts.
