Diode Dynamics RGBW kits
Choose a 4-, 8- or 12-light setup. Compare base, magnet-mount and controller packages; the selected SKU or option determines what is included.

Build a color-changing rock light setup with Diode Dynamics, Morimoto or United Pacific. Diode Dynamics RGBW lights add a dedicated white emitter; Morimoto and United Pacific products here are RGB. Start with the light family, then match its controller, wiring and mounts.

Choose a 4-, 8- or 12-light setup. Compare base, magnet-mount and controller packages; the selected SKU or option determines what is included.
Expand a compatible Diode Dynamics RGBW system with individual pods or a two-pack. Pick the matching RF or Bluetooth controller when needed.

Morimoto offers 4-, 6- and 8-light RGB kits; United Pacific offers a separate 4-piece RGB kit. These are not the Diode Dynamics RGBW system.
RGBW adds a separate white LED channel to red, green and blue. The Diode Dynamics Stage Series RGBW products in this collection use that design. Morimoto XRL55 and the listed Morimoto kits are RGB; United Pacific 36604 is also RGB. Do not choose an RGB product on the assumption that it has a dedicated white emitter.
For the Diode Dynamics installer kits, listings marked “w/Controller” include the controller; the matching base packages do not. The 12-pack has separate base, magnet-mount, controller and combined options. Its SXS installer packages are separate choices for a side-by-side installation. A switch panel supplies circuit control; it does not replace an RGBW color controller.
Diode Dynamics RGBW M8 wiring uses the 5-pin family. Its extensions, splitters and RGBW battery-to-controller harness serve different jobs. Match the controller connection and planned runs; do not substitute single-color 3-pin parts. Morimoto RGB extension parts belong to the matching Morimoto RGB system, not a cross-brand wiring kit.
Select magnet mounts only where included in the kit or add the matching Stage Series adapter. Surface, flush and roll-bar mounts are different accessories for Diode Dynamics Stage Series lights. They are not replacement pods and are not automatically compatible with Morimoto or United Pacific housings.
No. Diode Dynamics Stage Series RGBW lights have a separate white emitter. The listed Morimoto XRL55 and RGB kits, and United Pacific 36604, are RGB systems. This collection also contains controllers, mounts and wiring without lights.
No. Check the exact SKU and option. Diode Dynamics installer listings marked w/Controller include it; base packages do not. The 12-pack lets you select controller and magnet-mount options separately.
Use a pod from the matching system and verify the controller capacity, connector and wiring needed for the extra location. Diode Dynamics DD7440 is RGBW; Morimoto XRL55 is an RGB pod. Neither individual listing is a complete kit.
No direct compatibility should be assumed. Diode Dynamics RGBW uses its 5-pin M8 family; single-color parts use a different 3-pin connection. Choose the correct harness, splitter and extension for the actual light system.
The Diode Dynamics magnet-mount packages add the matching mounting adapters. Other packages use their listed hardware. A separate magnet adapter is an accessory, not another light; check the selected kit contents and mounting surface.
No. A switch panel can control a correctly installed power circuit. Color and effect selection still requires the compatible controller for the RGBW or RGB system you chose.
