Frequently Asked Questions
Does the clear lens produce white light?
No. The 39530 uses amber LEDs behind its clear lens. The lens appearance changes, while the emitted LED colour remains amber.
Is this a complete set for all cab-light positions?
The package contains one cab-light kit. Count the positions you intend to replace and order that many matching units.
Are the housing, gasket and hardware supplied?
Yes. The kit is pre-assembled with a chrome-plated plastic housing, and the manufacturer includes the gasket and mounting hardware.
How do I connect the two leads?
Connect white to ground and black to the matching positive circuit. Inspect the existing wiring and route the leads so the mounting hardware cannot pinch them.
Can I buy only the clear-lens light?
United Pacific identifies clear-lens lamp 39528 separately. The complete 39530 kit also supplies the housing, gasket and hardware; choose according to the parts your installation needs.
