2024–2026 Ram 1500 DT Bulb Size Guide

2024–2026 Ram 1500 DT

Find the right bulbs for your Ram 1500 DT

Start with the lighting fitted to your truck. A 2024 halogen reflector headlight uses H11LL low beam and 9005LL high beam. The 2025 and 2026 manuals list LED headlight beams, but an LED reflector headlight can still have a removable 7444NA front turn and parking bulb. LED projector turn signals are a different branch.

This guide covers the DT-generation 2024, 2025 and 2026 Ram 1500. Ram 1500 Classic/DS, Ram HD, REV and Ramcharger require their own references.

Front turn and parking light options

7444NA removable-bulb equipment: the 2024 manual assigns this bulb to the halogen reflector headlight. The 2025 and 2026 manuals assign it to the LED reflector headlight, if equipped. The separately listed LED turn-signal equipment does not use a replaceable bulb.

Amber output or white/amber switchback

The Morimoto amber option below lists 7444 among its supported replacement sizes. For 2024–2025 DT trucks with removable front turn bulbs, Diode Dynamics also lists the HP24 switchback shown below as a specific Ram application. Ram’s original code remains 7444NA; Diode sells that manufacturer-listed replacement as 7443 HP24.

Morimoto XB Amber — sold as a pair · Diode Dynamics HP24 Switchback — choose the Pair option

Choose switchback for white parking-light output and amber turn signals; a clear reflector/lens is needed to show the white output. Diode’s Ram application requires resistors to correct hyperflash because the signal circuit is controlled by the body control module. A replacement flasher is not the listed solution. Diode lists this switchback application through 2025.

Product wiring and use information

Morimoto lists support for standard and CK wiring, but excludes PWM-driven DRL systems. That product limit does not mean every Ram uses PWM at this lamp. Follow the selected product’s installation instructions and stated intended use. Diode’s application specifies one resistor for each replaced turn bulb; mount resistors away from plastic and wiring because they become hot.

White reverse bulbs for base rear lamps

The 2024, 2025 and 2026 base backup-lamp row is 7440/W21W. For that removable-bulb socket, compare these white 7440 replacement options. The premium rear lamp is listed as LED and needs separate handling.

Morimoto XB White — sold as a pair · GTR Carbide 2.0 — select White, sold as a pair

Select White on the GTR listing for a reverse-light replacement. Its amber, red and switchback options serve other lighting functions. A pair describes the retail package; it does not establish the total bulb count for your truck.

Product wiring and use information

The Morimoto listing supports standard and CK circuits and excludes PWM-driven DRL use. GTR describes its Carbide bulbs as polarity specific; its amber and switchback variants have separate CK/non-CK selections. The linked reverse option is the exact White variation. Follow the product’s installation instructions. “Resistor-Free” is the product line name, not a guarantee about every vehicle circuit.

2024 halogen reflector headlight bulbs

For a 2024 DT with the original halogen reflector headlight, the manual specifies H11LL for low beam and 9005LL for high beam. The LED options below are sold in the corresponding H11 and 9005 replacement families. Match the installed bulb and the selected product’s holder, connector and clearance requirements.

LED headlight conversion bulbs may not comply with FMVSS/CMVSS requirements for on-road use. Check applicable state and provincial laws before use.

H11 low-beam options

9005 high-beam options

Compare Alpha, GTR Lighting and Morimoto. Follow the selected product’s installation instructions and stated intended use. Ram cautions that an incorrect bulb size or type can overheat and damage the lamp, socket or wiring.

The 2024 halogen fog-lamp row is also H11LL; treat its housing and installation requirements separately. These headlight choices are not replacements for the factory LED light sources listed in the 2025–2026 manual tables.

The 2025 and 2026 owner’s manuals list the sizes below. Choose the row for the fitted lighting equipment: an LED headlight beam does not make every other light in the assembly an LED.

Cargo lights, the third brake light and other rear functions

The cargo lamp and center high mounted stop lamp (CHMSL) are separate 921 entries in all three manuals. The service illustration places the cargo bulbs at the outside of the shown housing and the brake bulb in the center. Choose the correct function and color when buying a replacement; a reverse-light product is not automatically a cargo or brake-light recommendation.

For the base rear lamps, match the lighting function: the chart lists 7440LL/W21WLL for tail/turn/stop, 7440/W21W for reverse and a separately named 7440NA / WY21W Base Turn Lamp entry.

Common Ram bulb questions

Can LED headlights still have a removable turn-signal bulb?

Yes. The 2025 and 2026 DT manuals list a 7444NA turn/position bulb for LED reflector headlights, if equipped. The LED projector turn row is LED. Identify the headlight type before choosing that bulb.

Does this guide apply to a Ram 1500 Classic?

No. Classic/DS is a separate platform. The references here are the exact 2024–2026 DT manuals, and the Diode front-turn application used here excludes the 2019 Classic.

Can I replace a factory LED light source with these bulb options?

A factory LED entry is a different equipment branch from a removable incandescent bulb. The manuals direct owners to an authorized dealer for LED lamp replacement/service. Use the lamp or assembly specification for that equipment.

Will every LED bulb avoid hyperflash or warning messages?

Electrical behavior depends on the lamp and product. Diode’s listed Ram switchback installation calls for resistors. The Morimoto and GTR options have their own wiring and intended-use instructions; do not apply one product’s claim to every bulb on the truck.
