Toyota Tacoma bulb sizes and LED options

Find Toyota Tacoma bulb sizes and LED options by year and original equipment. Start with the 2024, 2025 and 2026 Tacoma sections, including separately documented i-FORCE MAX / Hybrid models, or jump to the 2000–2023 references and bulb-family options. A replaceable front turn/parking bulb can sit alongside LED headlights; a complete LED lamp needs its own matching replacement assembly.

2024–2026 front turn signal and parking-light upgrade

Diode Dynamics lists the 7443 HP24 switchback pair for SR, SR5, TRD PreRunner, TRD Sport and TRD Off-Road without premium headlights, using the original replaceable front turn/parking bulb. It does not replace a factory integrated LED turn signal. A clear front turn lens/reflector is required to see the white parking-light output; the turn signal flashes amber.

Diode Dynamics 7443 HP24 switchback — Pair

DD0110P: two bulbs. Resistors are sold separately.

View the Pair option

Toyota’s original bulb number is 7444NA, 28/8 W, amber. Diode Dynamics calls its specified LED replacement for this Tacoma application 7443; the original Toyota number remains 7444NA.

Required signal resistors

This BCM-controlled application requires one 6-ohm resistor for each signal bulb replaced. The Diode Dynamics kit below contains two resistors and four splice connectors. It is separate from the bulb pair.

DD4025 resistor kit — Pair. The resistors connect across the turn-signal circuit and ground. They become hot during prolonged operation; keep them away from plastic, wiring and fabric. Follow the Tacoma-specific resistor instructions for the connector pins and wire identification.

2024–2026 FORM LED tail-light pairs

FORM lists these complete tail-light assemblies for all 2024–2026 Tacoma trims. Each pair contains left and right lamps with running, brake and turn-signal functions. These replace the lamp assemblies; they are not replacement bulb SKUs.

Choose the lens finish: Red pair — FL0108 or Smoked pair — FL0109.

FORM specifies the original connectors for installation. The startup animation and sequential turn signal can each be disabled if you prefer the available static behavior. Follow the selected lamp’s installation instructions.

2024–2026 Tacoma original bulb and LED chart

Regular Tacoma and i-FORCE MAX / Hybrid models share the 7444NA specification where a replaceable front turn/parking bulb is fitted. The chart below covers each 2024–2026 model-year manual and preserves the differences in their lighting labels.

The combined high-mounted stoplight/cargo labels identify functions, not a physical bulb count. Side marker and side turn labels do not specify front versus rear. Toyota’s list explicitly includes LED license-plate lighting. A lamp named without “if equipped” is not a statement that every trim has that equipment.

2026 Tacoma headlight, fog-light and bed-light packages

Toyota lists LED headlights with sequential LED turn signals for Limited, Limited i-FORCE MAX, Trailhunter and TRD Pro. The other seven displayed trim columns have the separate LED-headlight/DRL specification. Choose a matching complete headlight assembly or Toyota’s specified service part for these original LED headlights.

TRD Pro has the Rigid LED fog-light row; Trailhunter has the white-and-amber switching Rigid fog-light row. Bed scene lighting is standard on Trailhunter and available on TRD Pro.

A dash means no trim is marked in that standard/available category; it is not proof that the truck lacks all lamps of that type.

2000–2023 Tacoma: find the original bulb before shopping

Older Tacomas use several headlight, fog and signal configurations. The exact 2023 and 2020 Toyota tables below distinguish replaceable bulbs from factory LED lamps; the 2010 Toyota references and older Philips charts cover earlier equipment. Match the installed light, connector, retainer and space behind the lamp before choosing a conversion bulb.

H11 low-beam bulb options

Toyota specifies H11 low beam and H9 high beam for the bulb-type headlights in the exact 2023 and 2020 manuals. Philips also lists H11/H9 in its 2016–2019 and 2021–2022 Tacoma rows. The H11 options below are for browsing once you have confirmed an original H11 lamp; they do not replace factory LED headlights.

Replacing an original H9 high beam? The Morimoto H11/H9/H8 and GTR H11/H8/H9 listings above include H9 in their product families. Check the selected product’s H9 installation requirements and your lamp’s clearance. The Alpha card is the H11 listing. Fog lamps are a separate choice: the exact Toyota chart distinguishes normal H16 from wide-angle H11 equipment.

9003/H4 bulb-family options for matching older headlights

Philips lists 9003 in its older 2000–2015 Tacoma headlight rows. Compare the original bulb before choosing among these 9003/H4 products, particularly if the truck has replacement housings. The 2010 Toyota table uses a separate HB2 halogen type legend; its original Bulb No. cell remains a dash in the chart below.

Check the selected package when ordering. A shared bulb-family name does not establish fit in every headlight housing or lighting circuit. Keep the original retaining arrangement and dust-cap seal, allow room for cooling hardware and verify the beam aim after installation.

LED headlight conversion bulbs may not comply with FMVSS/CMVSS requirements for on-road use. Check applicable state and provincial laws before use.

2023 and 2020 Tacoma: exact Toyota bulb specifications

These two model-year manuals print the same rows below. Choose the equipment actually installed: halogen versus LED headlights, normal versus wide-angle fog lamps, and bulb versus LED parking/DRL functions are independent choices. This table does not assign the same equipment to intervening years or every trim.

Front signals: Toyota prints 7442NA for the combined bulb-type front turn/parking/DRL row and WY21W for the turn bulb when parking/DRL are LED. A separate integrated LED front-turn branch is listed above. The two rear 7443 rows describe separate combined-function groups; their labels do not specify a physical bulb count.

The 168 high-mounted stoplight applies to trucks without a cargo lamp. The manual gives separate LED service information for the high-mounted stoplight with a cargo lamp. Match that equipment before choosing a bulb.

2010 Tacoma: original bulbs and LED rear lamps

Toyota issued separate 2010 manuals for trucks produced August 2009–January 2010 and February 2010 and later within the 2010 model year. Both give the same exterior rows below.

Important 2010 rear-light correction: both Toyota manuals identify stop/tail and rear side-marker lamps as LED and assign 921 to the reverse lamps. The later Philips catalogue’s 2010 tail/stop entries of 921 are not a replacement-bulb recommendation for those original LED lamps. This exact-year correction does not establish the equipment on a 2009 or 2011 truck.

Older Tacoma catalogue bulb charts

Use these manufacturer catalogue rows as a reference for matching original bulb markings. They are separate from the exact Toyota manual tables and do not establish that an LED product fits a particular truck. A dash is unspecified; a blank has no entry; only “LED” explicitly identifies an LED entry. The printed year groups and equipment labels are retained, including the noncontiguous 2017, 2019 rows.

Rear-lamp equipment needs particular attention: the earlier catalogue separates 2012–2015 trucks with and without LED tail lights, and the catalogues disagree on some 2009–2011 rear entries. Use the exact 2010 Toyota correction above for that year; check the actual original lamp for the other years.

Philips 2022 catalogue: 23 Tacoma rows, 2002–2019 and 2021–2022

Each listed year group retains its own equipment qualifier. The catalogue edition is not an additional model year. “Back-Up & Cornering” and “Trunk/Cargo” are the source’s combined column headings.

These earlier rows remain separate because some equipment and rear-lamp entries differ. A printed descending year group, such as 2015–2012, includes those listed years; the later catalogue’s exact 2017, 2019 pair does not include 2018.

Toyota instructs owners to switch the lights off, let the bulbs cool and secure replacements fully. Incomplete seating can cause heat damage, fire or water entry. Check the specified wattage and the selected product’s installation instructions.
