2020–2026 Ford Ranger bulb sizes by lighting equipment
This guide separates the 2020–2023 Ranger from the 2024–2026 Ranger. Both groups can use replaceable bulbs and LED lamps in different positions. For 2024–2026, Ford’s North-American manuals identify Low, Mid and High Series lighting equipment. The separate 2020–2023 chart lists the matching bulb codes and optional LED lamps from all four original manuals. Match the lamp fitted to your truck; a headlight type alone does not identify the fog or rear-light configuration.
For the 2024–2026 Low Series headlamp, Ford lists H18 low beam and HB3 high beam. The original replaceable fog bulb is H11. Factory LED versions have their own service requirements.

Diode Dynamics high-beam LED options
For a 2024–2026 Ranger with original factory halogen high beams, Diode Dynamics lists these exact 9005-family SL2 and SL2 Pro bulbs as direct replacements. Ford’s original high-beam designation remains HB3. These options do not replace factory LED headlamps or establish fit in an unidentified replacement housing.
Select Cool White (6000K) for the SL2 listing: the supported part is DD0463P. The SL2 Pro white pair is DD0481P. Each listed package contains two bulbs.
LED headlight conversion bulbs may not comply with FMVSS/CMVSS requirements for on-road use. Check applicable state and provincial laws before use.
Diode Dynamics H11 fog-light options
If your 2021–2026 Ranger has original removable H11 fog bulbs, Diode Dynamics lists these replacements with tested electrical compatibility and no modification. Check the fog lamps independently of the headlights. These bulbs do not replace factory LED fog assemblies.

The SL2 listing offers DD0467P white or DD0468P yellow. The other options are DD0158P HP48 white and DD0165P XP80 white. All four packages contain two bulbs. HP48 is a cosmetic upgrade; choose it for appearance rather than increased driving illumination.
2021–2023 Ranger cargo-light options
For a 2021–2023 Ranger with removable cargo bulbs, Diode Dynamics lists the DD0143P 921 HP36 and DD0031P 194 HP5 cool-white pairs below. These are manufacturer-listed replacements for this cargo application; Ford’s original bulb designation remains 912. Tremor models and factory LED cargo lamps are excluded. This recommendation covers cargo illumination only; identify the high-mounted brake lamp separately.
2021–2026 Ranger license-plate options
For the 2021–2026 Ranger, Diode Dynamics lists these cool-white 194 pairs for the removable license-plate bulbs: DD0031P HP5, DD0024P HP3 and DD0037P SMD2. For 2021–2023, match the original W5W plate lamp. For 2024–2026, this recommendation covers Low Series removable W5W lamps only; it excludes the Mid and High Series factory LED plate lamps. The manufacturer’s 194 replacement names do not change Ford’s original W5W designation.
2021–2023 Ranger front side-marker options
For original 194 front side-marker bulbs behind amber lenses, these same three cool-white pairs are listed by Diode Dynamics. Keep the emitted marker light amber. This recommendation does not cover white bulbs in clear aftermarket lenses or factory LED assemblies.

The 2020 manual covers vehicles built from 18 November 2019 (source notation: 18-11-2019). The 2021 manual covers vehicles built from 23 November 2020 (source notation: 23-11-2020). The 2022 manual covers vehicles built from 11-10-2021; the 2023 manual covers vehicles built from 10-10-2022. Match the original lamp and equipment. All four manuals list H11LL low beam and HB3LL high beam; the 2024–2026 H18 low-beam specification does not apply to this chart.

The six LED entries are optional equipment. Ford says LED lamps are not serviceable and directs dealer service if they fail. Chart rows and package sizes do not establish how many bulbs your truck needs.

2022 Ford Ranger owner’s manual, printed pages 334–335 (PDF pages 337–338). The 2022 manual applies to vehicles built from 11-10-2021. All 20 exterior chart rows, including power, colour and optional-LED conditions, match the separately checked 2023 chart.
The manual does not assign the optional LED entries to marketing trims. In its LED headlamp assembly, every bulb except the direction-indicator bulb is LED; an LED headlamp does not establish an LED front turn signal.
Keep the clear W21/5W and amber 7444NA front park/direction-indicator rows separate. Reverse type 1 is W21W and type 2 is 3157K. Ford illustrates the two rear-lamp types separately without assigning those types to trims in this chart. The separate combined rear direction/park/stop 3157K row is not a new trim allocation.
The mirror approach lamp and side direction indicator, where equipped, are separate functions with LED dealer-service instructions. Cargo and high-mounted brake lamps remain separate chart positions; their optional LED versions have dealer-service instructions. Diagram arrows and screw counts are not bulb quantities.

Why the 2024–2026 H18 low beam needs a separate fit check
For 2024–2026, match the original H18 low-beam bulb to a confirmed replacement. The options shown above cover high beams and fog lights. Mid and High Series LED headlamps use their own service path.
2024–2026 turn signals, rear lamps and plate lights
For 2024–2026, front signals are WY28/8W on Low and Mid Series equipment, with LED on High Series. A Mid Level headlamp does not automatically mean an LED front signal: Ford includes a separate front-turn bulb procedure for Mid Level headlamps.
At the rear of the 2024–2026 Ranger, Low and Mid Series turn signals use WY21W and reversing lamps use W21W; High Series versions are LED. Low Series rear/stop and rear-position entries use W21/5W at their separately listed power levels. Keep each function in the chart separate when identifying the installed lamp.
For 2024–2026, Low Series plate lamps use W5W; Mid and High Series plate lamps are LED. The table’s front-position and rear-position labels should not be used to guess an additional side-marker bulb. Factory LED lamps require their own module or assembly service information.
Common Ranger bulb questions
Can I choose bulbs just from XL, XLT, Lariat or Raptor?
The 2024–2026 bulb tables use lighting-series labels, while the 2020–2023 chart uses its own equipment distinctions. Neither chart assigns every entry to those marketing trims. Identify the actual headlamp, fog and rear-lamp equipment before selecting a replacement.
Are two bulbs included, or does my truck need two?
Each shown package contains two bulbs. Select the light position you are replacing.
Does this chart cover the older Ranger?

Manufacturer fit and product-use details
For 2024–2026, Ford lists H18 for Low Series low beams. The DD H7 listing remains unresolved for that original bulb: one answer conditions fit on an original H7, while another says H11. No H7 option is assigned as a confirmed H18 replacement here.
Diode Dynamics states these bulbs are not DOT compliant for headlamps on public roads in the United States. Follow the selected product’s instructions and stated intended use.
