Toyota Tundra bulb sizes and LED options

Find the light you are replacing, then match your Tundra’s model year and installed lamp. The 2022–2026 Tundra can have a replaceable front turn/parking bulb alongside LED headlights and other LED lamps. Older Tundras use different headlight, signal and fog-light configurations.

2022–2026 front turn signal and parking-light upgrade

For a factory replaceable front turn/parking bulb that is not used as the daytime running light, Diode Dynamics lists its 7443 HP24 switchback pair for the 2022–2026 Tundra. It provides white parking-light output and an amber turn signal. Use a clear lens/reflector to see the white output. This option does not replace an integrated LED turn signal.

Toyota’s original bulb designation is 7444NA, 28/8 W, amber. The 7443 name above identifies Diode Dynamics’ specified LED replacement for this application; it does not change the original Toyota bulb number.

Required signal resistors

Diode Dynamics specifies one 6-ohm resistor for each signal bulb replaced on this BCM-controlled application. The kit below contains two resistors and four splice connectors; it is not included with the bulb pair.

Diode Dynamics LED resistor kit — Pair, DD4025. Installation connects across the turn-signal circuit and ground. The resistors become hot during prolonged operation; keep them away from plastic, wiring and fabric and follow the installation instructions.

The following entries come from the five separate 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 Tundra owner’s manuals. These are the manuals selected for Tundra; the separately listed Tundra Hybrid manual is not covered by this chart. Choose the bulb-type or LED-type front signal branch independently of the headlights.

The manuals do not give a separate license-plate bulb number in these charts. For an LED lamp, match the complete assembly or Toyota’s specified service part. The combined high-mounted stoplight/cargo entry remains a combined function group; it does not specify a bulb count.

2026 Tundra lighting packages

Toyota’s 2026 brochure distinguishes ordinary LED headlights from premium headlights with sequential turn signals. Premium chrome-trim headlights are available on Limited and Limited i-FORCE MAX and standard on the listed Platinum, 1794 Edition and Capstone configurations. TRD Pro has its own black-trim premium LED headlights. A trim name alone does not establish that a removable turn bulb is fitted when optional lighting has been installed.

Fog-light exception: Toyota states that LED fog lights are removed when the 3-in. TRD Suspension Lift Kit (LK) is selected.

The table preserves Toyota’s standard and available distinctions, including its named i-FORCE MAX columns. It is equipment information, separate from the nonhybrid manual chart above.

2020–2021 Tundra original exterior bulb sizes

Use this 2020–2021 chart for the truck’s original lighting equipment. Toyota lists HB2 for bulb-type headlights and H16 for optional bulb-type fog lights. LED headlights and LED fog lights have separate dealer-service instructions.

Front signals depend on the headlamp equipment: bulb-type headlights use the chart’s combined 4157NAK turn/parking row; LED-type headlights use a replaceable 7444NA front turn bulb. Both are amber wedge-base bulbs. LED headlights do not make the front turn signal an LED assembly.

The chart explicitly groups the high-mounted stoplight and cargo lamp under 921, 16 watts. The service diagram identifies these as separate functions. Combined labels and illustrations do not establish how many bulbs to buy. The outer foot light’s dash means Toyota supplies no bulb number; its 5-watt clear wedge-base description does not identify a replacement socket.

2020–2021 LED equipment and service notes

Toyota identifies LED-type headlights, LED-type front fog lights, LED parking lights, daytime-running lights and side turn signals as LED service branches. Have failed LED lamps replaced by a Toyota dealer. Side turn signals and outer foot lights are listed where equipped; dealer service for an outer foot light does not itself establish LED technology.

Bulb-type headlight replacement uses fender-liner access, a rubber cover and a retaining spring. Front markers and bulb-type fog lamps also use fender-liner access. Rear turn, backup and combined stop/tail/rear-marker positions remain separate in the rear assembly. Use the specified wattage, avoid touching bulb glass and fully seat the bulb and its covers.

The daytime-running system uses the parking lights at higher brightness, with engine, parking-brake and light-switch conditions. The manual gives different switch behaviour for U.S. and Canadian vehicles. That operating description does not add a separate bulb number to this chart.

Older Tundra headlight and fog-light sizes

The table below is a Philips bulb-catalog reference for the named year and equipment rows. Match the original housing and bulb; a blank catalog entry does not identify an LED lamp or prove that no separate bulb exists. For 2013, use Toyota’s H11/9005 chart above.

Browse the matching bulb family below once you have identified the original bulb. Check the connector, retainer, dust-cap clearance and lighting circuit for the selected product; these bulb-family choices do not replace a complete factory LED assembly.

LED headlight conversion bulbs may not comply with FMVSS/CMVSS requirements for on-road use. Check applicable state and provincial laws before use.

9003 / H4 low-and-high-beam bulb options

W/HAL means the catalog’s halogen-lighting qualifier. Its “Low or Dual Beam” heading does not by itself specify a separate high-beam bulb. The 2021 row lists 9003 for that column; it does not establish the lighting package on every 2021 Tundra.

The older Philips edition explicitly includes 2000–2003: 9003 low/dual beam and 9006 fog/driving. Its 2014–2016 “Premium Model” and “Other” rows both list 9003 headlights, but the Premium Model DRL is LED while the Other DRL is 4157NA. Those older labels are not substituted for later trim names.

Older turn, marker, brake, reverse and plate-light references

Keep the complete number printed on the original bulb, including suffixes. For example, the 2021 Philips plate-light entry is 12961. The generic 2017, 2018 and 2019 parking-light entries include multiple alternatives, including 9005; use the original installed bulb to choose among them.

2002–2022 Philips front-light reference rows

These are the catalog’s literal year/equipment rows. Dashes below represent an unfilled or unspecified cell. The 2013 low-beam 9003 entry conflicts with Toyota’s exact-year manual: use Toyota’s H11 reference above for the original 2013 low beam.

Reference sources and installation information

For the switchback option, follow the selected product’s instructions, including the signal-as-DRL exclusion and resistor installation. Original bulb numbers identify the factory lighting; an LED replacement must also suit its intended position and circuit.
