A replacement bulb changes the light source in an existing housing. A complete fog-light assembly includes its own optics and mounting arrangement. Vehicle-specific kits may also include brackets or wiring, but contents vary by listing.

Round, oval and rectangular fog lights are not interchangeable simply because their dimensions look similar. Compare the mounting tabs, bumper openings, factory connectors and manufacturer application notes. A vehicle with no original fog lights may need additional wiring and controls.

Are these fog lights plug-and-play?
