Advanced TIR Optics

Unlike traditional reflectors or lenses that waste light and create glare, the Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics in the SS3 collect and focus every bit of LED output exactly where it’s needed. The result is a sharper, more efficient beam with less stray light.

• SAE Driving Beam (18×8° spread): Perfect as a high-beam supplement or for general forward visibility at higher speeds.

• SAE Fog Beam (FineLine Optic, 80° spread): Extremely wide coverage with high-intensity output—ideal for poor weather and road illumination.

Both options are fully SAE-compliant when properly aimed:

• Driving = SAE J581 (auxiliary high beam)

• Fog = SAE J583 (fog lamp)

Backlight Accent

Each SS3 LED pod features a built-in amber backlight that illuminates the optic for a bold, modern accent. Use the included harness to tap the backlight into your desired vehicle function for extra style alongside performance.
