Wiring Harnesses, Adapters & Modules for Vehicle Lighting
Choose the wiring components that match your lights, power supply and control system. Compare complete harnesses with individual pigtails, connector adapters, extensions and electronic modules so you can identify the right part for your installation.
Harnesses & power connections
Compare single- and dual-output lighting harnesses, primary wire and multi-plug harness rolls. Check connector type, lead length, output count and the manufacturer’s electrical rating against the lights you plan to connect.
Pigtails, adapters & extensions
Browse straight and right-angle pigtails, bullet-plug connections, Deutsch DT adapters and system-specific extensions. Match the physical connector and pin functions; similar-looking plugs or equal pin counts do not confirm compatibility.
Anti-flicker modules & flashers
Compare PWM interfaces, CANBUS anti-flicker modules, warning cancellers, resistor kits, load equalizers and LED flashers by their listed application. Identify the lighting system’s requirements before selecting a module.
Switch panels & control accessories
Explore multi-channel switch panels, compatible extension cables and lighting-control modules. Check the supported accessories, channel limits and required connections in the specific system’s documentation.
Check compatibility before connecting
Have the vehicle details, light model and connector information ready. Confirm voltage, polarity, pin functions and electrical load, then review lead length, routing and supplied components. Follow the product manufacturer’s wiring, fuse and mounting instructions rather than relying on wire colour or connector appearance alone.
Lighting Wiring & Module FAQs
How do I choose a wiring harness for LED lights?
Match the harness to the light manufacturer’s requirements, including input voltage, connector type, pin functions, electrical load and number of outputs. Compare the listed harness rating and supplied components; a heavy-duty label alone does not confirm compatibility with your lights.
Will connectors with the same number of pins fit each other?
Not necessarily. Check the connector family, physical shape, pin arrangement, polarity and wire functions. This collection includes bullet plugs, two- and three-prong pigtails, Deutsch DT adapters and four-pin extensions, which should not be assumed interchangeable.
Do I need a PWM or CANBUS anti-flicker module?
Use the vehicle and lighting manufacturer’s compatibility guidance to determine whether a module is required. Check the exact lamp, connector and vehicle application. An anti-flicker or warning-canceller product should not be assumed to correct every flicker, warning message or wiring fault.
Are load equalizers, resistors and LED flashers the same thing?
They are different product types. This range includes resistor kits, H4 load equalizers and two- or three-terminal LED flashers. Select the component specified for your application and check its voltage, terminal arrangement and installation instructions rather than substituting by name alone.
How do I choose an extension or splitter for my lighting setup?
Match it to the exact supported light system and connector, then choose the required length or branch arrangement. The DD4098, DD4099 and DD4100 listings identify Gen 2 Watermelon Light extensions and a splitter; a matching pin count alone is not enough to establish compatibility with other lights.
Can I use any cable with a switch panel?
Check the panel manufacturer and model first. The collection includes an Alpha Six Switch panel, a Diode Dynamics D-Switch panel and D-Switch-specific battery and controller extensions. Verify accessory compatibility and the panel’s per-channel and total electrical limits in its documentation.
Do harnesses include relays, fuses, switches and adapters?
Contents vary between complete harnesses, pigtails, adapters, modules and extension cables. Read the individual listing for included parts, lead length, output count and package quantity. Some products are sold in pairs or bulk rolls; the product photo alone may not establish what is supplied.
