Chevrolet Colorado bulb sizes and LED options
This guide covers the 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 Chevrolet Colorado. Start with the light you want to replace and the original equipment on your truck. The uplevel rear lamp, for example, combines an LED tail light with separately replaceable turn, stop and reverse bulbs.

H11 low-beam LED options for factory halogen headlights
Diode Dynamics lists these H11 SL2 and SL2 Pro white LED pairs for the Colorado’s replaceable factory halogen low beam, including 2023–2026 models. They do not replace an original HID bulb or an integrated factory LED headlamp. The H11 application comes from Diode Dynamics; GM’s service chart below does not print a bulb number.
Select the white pair: SL2 Cool White (6000K) — DD0467P or SL2 Pro White — DD0483P. Each offer contains two bulbs.
For this low-beam application, Diode Dynamics reports full-brightness operation when used as the daytime running light.
LED headlight conversion bulbs may not comply with FMVSS/CMVSS requirements for on-road use. Check applicable state and provincial laws before use.
9005 high-beam LED options for factory halogen headlights
For the separate replaceable halogen high beam, Diode Dynamics lists these 9005 SL2 and SL2 Pro white pairs. Select them for that original high-beam configuration, independently of the truck’s low beam or rear lights.
Select the white pair: SL2 Cool White (6000K) — DD0463P or SL2 Pro White — DD0481P. Each offer contains two bulbs.
Manufacturer use and installation information
Diode Dynamics states that these conversion bulbs are not DOT compliant for use in headlamps on public roads in the United States
. GM also cautions that replacing incandescent bulbs with aftermarket LEDs can damage the vehicle electrical system. Follow the selected product’s installation instructions and stated intended use.
GM directs owners to a dealer for replacement bulb types and service of LED lighting assemblies. The product names above identify Diode Dynamics’ application choices; they do not turn an integrated LED assembly into a replaceable-bulb housing.
2023–2026 Colorado original lighting chart
These positions appear in each of the four model-year owner’s manuals. GM uses Base and Uplevel for the lamp configurations; the front and rear configurations are independent. The manuals describe bulb replacement but do not supply trade numbers for these removable bulbs.
| Original lamp configuration | Position or combined functions | Service information |
|---|---|---|
| Base headlight assembly | Low beam / daytime running lights | Replaceable bulb; number not specified |
| Base headlight assembly | High beam | Replaceable bulb; number not specified |

The two Base rear combined functions are separate entries. The Uplevel rear LED tail light does not make its turn, stop or reverse bulbs LED. Cargo lights and the center brake light also have separate replacement instructions.
Rear turn/tail and reverse bulb references
Rear turn/tail: Diode Dynamics lists red 7443 LED replacements for the original replaceable incandescent bulbs behind red lenses. Its HP48, HP11 and XP80 packages each contain four bulbs; HP48 is described as a cosmetic upgrade. The manufacturer requires one 6-ohm resistor for every replaced turn-signal bulb; resistors are separate. This application uses BCM control rather than a removable flasher.
Reverse: Diode Dynamics identifies a 921 reverse application and lists its Cool White HP5, HP36 and XPR pairs. It advises that most customers do not need a reverse resistor; a bulb-out warning or irregular operation may require one. That differs from the mandatory turn-signal resistor instruction above.
Match the original replaceable bulb and output color, and check the number of bulbs you intend to replace when ordering.
2026 Colorado headlight, fog and cargo-light equipment
Chevrolet’s comparison lists halogen headlights and halogen daytime running lamps for WT 2WD and Trail Boss 4WD. For the separately shown Z71 4WD, it lists LED projector headlights/DRL, LED fog lamps and LED tail lamps. The LED tail specification does not describe every function inside that rear housing.
