What is the DD4099 used for?

Is this better than the DD4098?
DD4099 is the 3m option; separate DD4098 is 1m. Choose by measured routing distance and safe slack.
Does this require cutting or splicing?

Can this be used with the DD4100 splitter?
Only if splitter, extension, harness and light share a compatible arrangement and full circuit ratings.
Can I run unlimited lights with extensions and splitters?
No. Extensions and splitters do not raise harness, fuse, switch or wire capacity. Check current and voltage drop.
Will this work with older Glass is Class watermelon lights?
Older hardwired lights may lack DT four-pin connectors. Identify the existing part first.
Can I use this on a 24V truck?
DD4099 is listed for 9–16V. Do not assume 24V installed-circuit compatibility.
