$900 Warranty Replacement Refundable Deposit

US$657.00

SKU: 900-deposit
Description

What Is This Product?

This $900 Refundable Deposit is a temporary authorization/payment used to expedite a warranty replacement for eligible products that require Return-to-Base inspection (such as headlights, tail lights, LED pod assemblies, and other high-value lighting components).

This is not a purchase.
It is a fully refundable deposit — provided the defective item is returned and confirmed to meet warranty eligibility requirements.

Why This Deposit Exists

For larger assemblies like headlights, removing and reinstalling parts twice is inconvenient. To make the process smoother, we offer two warranty options:

✅ Option 1: Standard Return (No Deposit)

  1. Remove the defective item.

  2. We provide a prepaid return label (where applicable).

  3. Once the item is received and confirmed defective, a replacement is shipped.

Downside: You may need to disassemble your vehicle twice.

🚚 Option 2: Refundable Deposit (Fast-Track Replacement)

  1. Pay the $900 refundable deposit.

  2. We immediately ship your replacement unit.

  3. The replacement ships with a prepaid return label.

  4. You return the defective unit using the provided label.

  5. Once received and confirmed defective, your full $900 deposit is refunded.

Benefit: Your vehicle is only taken apart once.

Important Conditions

The refundable deposit will be returned once:

  • The defective item is received.

  • The item passes inspection and bench testing.

  • The failure is confirmed to fall within warranty coverage.

  • The item has not been modified, damaged, or tampered with.

⚠️ When a Deposit May Be Forfeited

The deposit may not be refunded if:

  • The item is not returned.

  • The item is returned outside the required timeframe.

  • The product is inspected and found to be fully functional.

  • The failure was caused by improper installation, physical damage, misuse, or modification.

  • The item does not conform to manufacturer warranty policies.

If a returned item is found to be working properly, the customer will be responsible for shipping costs to have the original unit returned back to them.

Why Troubleshooting Is Critical

Before requesting a warranty replacement, it is extremely important to:

  • Work with our support team.

  • Follow proper diagnostic procedures.

  • Perform voltage checks, polarity checks, and harness testing.

  • Confirm the component is actually defective.

Skipping proper diagnosis can result in:

  • Loss of your refundable deposit.

  • Additional return shipping costs.

  • Delays in resolution.

Our team is here to help you avoid that.

Smaller components (bulbs, ballasts, harnesses, adapters, strips) may qualify for field-destroy processing and often do not require return.
