Is LF7919D the front or rear mirror-light set?
LF7919D is the rear-facing pair. The optional forward-facing set is LF7918D-1; the two part numbers identify different positions on the mirror.
Are the forward-facing lights included?
No. This LF7919D listing is for the rear-facing pair. LF7918D-1 is the separate optional front set.
Why does LF7918D-1 require the LF7919D rear lights?
Morimoto’s installation note says the new front-light wiring connects through the rear lights. The original forward-facing reflector has no lamp connection, so the front set cannot be connected as intended without LF7919D.
What colour and pattern are the turn signals?
The LF7919D specification lists amber illumination with a sequential signal pattern.
Will this replace the whole side mirror?
No. It replaces the mirror-light assemblies within the compatible mirrors. The mirror housings, glass and adjustment mechanisms are not part of this set.
Does a later Super Duty application use the same part?
The manufacturer application verified for LF7919D is the 2009–2014 F-150. Use the correct Super Duty-specific listing rather than assuming that a similar-looking Ford mirror takes this set.
