This Amber/Purple AlphaFit Duo Gen 2 bulb supplies two selectable LED colors for a compatible Glass Is Class Duo housing. One bulb is included; the glass lens, housing and vehicle mounting bracket are separate.
Amber primary color
SKU GICG2-LED-AP. The bulb has one power setting for the selected amber color; it does not use the single-color bulb’s 15W dim and 20W high modes.
Purple secondary color
A separate feed selects purple. If both color feeds are powered, the purple secondary color takes priority.

What does Amber/Purple mean on this Gen 2 bulb?
Amber/Purple identifies the two LED colors: amber primary and purple secondary.
Does this Gen 2 version have dim and high settings?
The AlphaFit Duo has one power setting for each selected color. It does not offer the 15W dim/20W high settings of the single-color Gen 2 bulb. Confirm the circuit load for the installed components before wiring.
What happens if both color feeds receive power?
The three-wire arrangement provides ground and separate amber and purple color feeds. If both color feeds are powered, the purple secondary color takes priority. Follow the supplied lead identification; the color names here identify the LEDs, not the insulation colors.

This Gen 2 listing specifies 12V and 24V compatibility. That rating does not establish the voltage rating of an older Glass Is Class or Duo bulb; identify the exact part before replacing it.
