Product questions
Frequently asked questions
Is this the amber AlphaFit Gen 2 bulb or a two-color Duo bulb?
This listing is for the amber AlphaFit Gen 2 LED bulb, SKU GICG2-LED-A. Its dim and high settings retain the same LED color. A two-color AlphaFit Duo is a separate product with one power setting per colour.
What are the dim and high power settings on the amber Gen 2 bulb?
The single-color amber bulb has a 15W dim setting and a 20W high setting. These are two brightness levels of the same color, not a primary/secondary color switch.
Where is this amber Gen 2 bulb used in the BTS range?
It is the LED component listed in the Clear Lens / Amber LED Glass Is Class Gen 2 light. That assembly combines a clear glass housing with this amber LED bulb; the replacement-bulb listing supplies the bulb only.
Does the H11-style base make this a vehicle headlight replacement?
No. This bulb is intended for compatible Glass Is Class housings. An H11-style base alone does not establish an OEM headlight application or fit in another manufacturer’s watermelon light. Match the exact housing, mounting position and clearance before ordering.
What should I check before replacing an older Glass Is Class bulb?
Identify the existing bulb generation and housing, then compare the replacement bulb’s base, clearance and supplied lead identification. If the original part is unknown, send BTS its part number and clear photographs before ordering. Do not assume that a similar base confirms the electrical connections.
