Alpha Series Peterbilt 379 & 389 Front Breather Light Panels
Build a row of compact marker lights along your Peterbilt’s external air cleaners with Alpha Series front breather light panels from BTS Lighting. This left-and-right pair has nine positions for 1.25-inch round LEDs on each panel, with 304 stainless steel and a #8 mirror finish.
Fitment depends on the air cleaner setup: these panels are intended for Peterbilt 379 and 389 trucks with 13-inch or 15-inch Donaldson or Vortox air cleaners and compatible factory strap bolts. Check the air cleaner size, mounting points and surrounding clearance before ordering, especially on a modified truck.

Choosing the lights
The 1.25-inch designation describes the intended light format. Match the light’s mounting grommet, required hole size and rear clearance to the panel before assembling it. These are panels for a compact round LED setup; a similar-looking light or the same nominal diameter alone does not establish a fit.
The United Pacific 1.25-inch light family referenced for these panels is available at BTS:

Those lamps use a mounting hole from 1-3/8 to 1-7/16 inches with their supplied grommet. Confirm the actual panel opening and mounting clearance for your chosen lamp. Choose the LED colour for the lamp’s intended position on the truck.
What is included?
The package contains two front breather light panels. Lights, wiring, connectors, switches and additional mounting hardware are not included. Plan the electrical components separately for the lights you select.
Installation and warranty
The intended mounting method uses the existing factory air cleaner strap bolts without drilling new mounting holes. Inspect the strap arrangement and test the panel position before installing lights or routing wiring. Trucks with changed air cleaners or brackets need an individual fit check.

Will these front breather panels fit my Peterbilt 379 or 389?
They are intended for those models with 13-inch or 15-inch Donaldson or Vortox air cleaners and compatible factory strap bolts. The model name alone is not enough: compare the air cleaner diameter, bolt positions and clearance with your truck.
How many lights do I need for the pair?
Each panel has nine positions for 1.25-inch LEDs. Filling both panels requires 18 lights, purchased separately.
Are lights and wiring included with A0021?
No. A0021 supplies the left and right panels. Lights, wiring, connectors, switches and additional mounting hardware are separate.
Is a 1.25-inch light the same as a 1.25-inch mounting hole?
No. The light’s nominal size and its required mounting opening can differ. For example, the United Pacific 36035–36038 lamps listed above require a 1-3/8 to 1-7/16-inch mounting hole with their grommet. Check the chosen lamp’s dimensions against the panel.
Do I have to drill the air cleaners?
The intended installation uses the existing factory strap bolts. Confirm that your truck retains the compatible straps and mounting arrangement before installation; custom air cleaners or brackets can change the fit.
