Light where the trail opens up
The SS3’s 80° × 30° Combo pattern combines forward reach and useful spread beside the trail. Aim the pair for the terrain and use it off road.
Mount at the factory hood hinges
Vehicle-specific stainless-steel brackets bolt to the original hood-hinge mounting points. The bracket installation requires no cutting or drilling; plan the wiring route separately.
Pick the light you need
Sport and Pro share the same mounting arrangement. Pro increases output. White and yellow are separate main-beam versions, while the amber accent backlight is wired independently.

Plan the installation before the trail
Mark the hood-hinge position, protect the painted edges and support the hood while fitting one bracket at a time. Align the hinge before tightening, then install and aim the pods using their mounting instructions. Route the supplied harness clear of moving parts and heat; follow its relay, battery and backlight connections.

Diode Dynamics provides a limited lifetime warranty for this product for eligible purchases from April 15, 2025. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Before you order
Does this also fit the WRX?
This kit covers the 2022–2025 WRX as well as the 2018–2023 Crosstrek. It is not the 2015–2021 WRX/STI kit. Confirm market and aftermarket equipment before ordering.
Does this kit include both lights and the harness?
Yes. The selected kit supplies two SS3 pods, the vehicle brackets, pod mounting hardware and the heavy-duty dual-output relay harness.
Can I change between white and yellow from a switch?
No. Choose a white or yellow main-beam version when ordering. The amber accent backlight is a separate low-output function, not a colour-changing main beam.
Do I need to drill the hood?
The brackets use the factory hood-hinge mounting points. No drilling or cutting is needed for the brackets. Follow the supplied harness instructions and plan the switch and wiring route separately.
Can I use an automatic car wash?
No. Diode Dynamics instructs owners not to use automatic car washes with this ditch-light kit installed.
What warranty applies?
Eligible Stage Series pods have a manufacturer limited lifetime warranty for purchases from April 15, 2025. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Wiring and accessories have their own terms; proof of purchase and the complete manufacturer conditions apply.
Are the kit photographs extra items I need to buy?
The listed kit contents are supplied. Other vehicle lighting and accessories in installation photographs are separate. Select the exact kit SKU and follow the notes under each photograph.
