Is this one light or a pair of separate pods?
It is one dual assembly with two adjacent C1/SSC1 pods sharing a bezel: one 940nm infrared pod and one visible-white pod.
Which side has the red backlight?
The red backlight belongs to the visible-white pod. It is not an additional visible color mode of the infrared emitter.
Is940nm interchangeable with 850nm for my night-vision system?
Choose the wavelength supported by your equipment. This exact SKU is 940nm; the 850nm version is a separate selection.
Manufacturer warranty
Limited lifetime manufacturer warranty, subject to the Diode Dynamics warranty terms. Commercial and industrial applications have an 8-year limited term under that policy.
