Install FORM mirror turn-signal lights on your Tacoma

FORM includes FL0032 in this procedure. The reference photos show its general mirror-lamp method; the vehicle shown is not identified as a Tacoma. Check your mirror clips and connector before applying force.

Before you start

Confirm the correct lamp part number and original equipment. Work with the vehicle parked securely and the lamps off during removal. Keep removed clips and screws together.

  • Plastic trim-removal tool
  • Phillips screwdriver

1. Release the mirror glass

Carefully pull one side of the mirror glass free, then work around the remaining clips. Leave its connections attached if it can be moved safely aside; otherwise disconnect only what is needed for access.

2. Release the mirror cap

Locate the white retaining tabs. The original photos mark their positions. Release the outer tab while applying gentle outward pressure to the cap, then work through the remaining clips.

3. Remove the factory lamp

Remove the two Phillips screws securing the lamp trim. Release the connector by pressing its white tab and drawing the harness away; do not pull on its wires.

4. Connect, test and secure the new lamp

Plug in the FORM lamp and check its turn signal before reassembly. Align it with the original mounting points and refit the two screws. The source supplies no numerical screw torque.

5. Reassemble and check both sides

Refit the cap and mirror glass in the reverse order. Check the tabs are seated and repeat the process for the other lamp. Confirm both turn signals and normal mirror operation.

Finish with an operation check

Check both lamps before discarding the original parts. If the connector, retention points or operation differ from the supplied instructions, stop and contact BTS with a photo of the original assembly.
