Install FORM FL0029 mirror lights
For 2014–2024 Toyota 4Runner and 2013–2018 RAV4 with original factory mirror lamps.
Before you start
Use the supplied plastic trim tool and a Phillips screwdriver. Check that the mirrors have the original lamps and connections. Support the mirror glass as you release it, keeping any attached wires free of strain.
The manufacturer demonstrates these steps on other vehicle housings. The pictures show the connection and handling method, not the exact 4Runner clip layout. Inspect your original retention points and follow the vehicle service procedure where fasteners differ.
1. Release the mirror glass
Carefully release one side of the glass, then work around the remaining clips. Keep the glass supported; unclip its connections if needed for safe access rather than leaving it hanging by the wires.

2. Release the mirror cap
The manufacturer marks the example’s retaining tabs in red. Free the outer tab while applying gentle pressure to the cap, then work around the remaining tabs.

3. Remove the original mirror lamp
Remove the two Phillips screws shown in the example and release the lamp trim. Press the connector’s retaining tab before unplugging the original lamp.

4. Connect and test the new lamp
Connect the new lamp to the original harness and test the turn signal. Position it at the original mounting points and reinstall the removed fasteners.

5. Reassemble and check both sides
Refit the cap and mirror glass by reversing the removal steps. Make sure the clips are seated and the wiring is clear, then test both turn signals and mirror adjustment.
