Confirm the factory bumper and connector

This guide covers the Type M 4Banger fog-light assembly. The kit fits supported 2007–2017 Wrangler JK models. Confirm 2018 JK compatibility before ordering. A 2007–2009 JK needs two BAF060 DT-to-9006 adapters in addition to the kit.

Assemble the adjustable fog bracket

Fit the pod’s upper bracket using the supplied longer screws. Install the adjuster, spring and adjustment screw in the orientation shown; engage the pod’s locating features with the outer shroud. Leave the vertical adjustment available until the lamps are on the Jeep.

Remove the original lights

Release the grille clips and disconnect the turn-signal connectors before moving the grille away. Remove the trim between the grille and bumper for access. Disconnect each original fog light, remove its four mounting screws, and retain the hardware. Fit the new assembly into the factory location, reconnect using the correct adapter, and check that every connector lock engages.

Aim and finish

Test both lamps, set the vertical aim using the adjustment screw, and reinstall the trim and grille. The original assembly drawing shows the NCS Wide aiming reference; use the applicable lamp’s current instructions and local requirements. Spot/Combo configurations are not part of this current fog-kit selection.
