The Morimoto LF547 XB LED headlight pair adds white daytime running lights and LED low/high beams to the listed Chevrolet Silverado HD applications. Check the 2024 trim restrictions and LF546H adapter requirement before ordering, especially when replacing a different factory lighting package.
Fitment and original equipment
- Chevrolet Silverado 2500HD and 3500HD: 2020–2023 with the matching original halogen or LED headlight configuration.
- 2024 Silverado HD: LT, Custom and Work Truck only; the separate LF546H adapter harness is required.
- Not compatible with 2024 High Country, ZR2 or LTZ trucks. Do not apply the earlier truck’s fitment to these refreshed trim packages.
- Left-hand-drive beam pattern. Morimoto designed and tested the housings on US-spec vehicles; confirm Canadian and other-market equipment before purchase.
- Morimoto notes that Canadian trucks may need the OEM DRL control disabled. Have the installer review the original DRL circuit and the supplied DRL power connection before installation.
- Compare GM references 84738616, 84738617, 85149467, 85133185 and 85133187 with the installed headlights and mounting.

Product questions and answers
Will LF547 fit every 2024 Silverado HD trim?
No. The listed 2024 applications are LT, Custom and Work Truck with the required LF546H adapter. High Country, ZR2 and LTZ are excluded. The truck year alone is not enough to select the headlights.
Is the LF546H adapter included with the base headlight pair?
LF546H is listed as a separate adapter option. It is required for the supported 2024 trims, so confirm that the correct adapter is included in your order before installation.
What needs checking on a Canadian Silverado HD?
Compare the original headlight package and DRL control. Morimoto notes that Canadian trucks may need the OEM DRL control disabled for this installation. Have the installer review that requirement together with the supplied DRL power connection; US-spec testing does not establish every Canadian configuration.
Are these bulbs or complete replacement headlights?
LF547 is a left/right pair of complete headlight assemblies with LED low and high beams. The included harness and fuse tap support the installation; this is not a loose bulb kit for the original housings.
Are the listed 1,790 and 1,840 figures lumen output?
No. Those values are lux readings in Morimoto’s published low- and high-beam comparison. Lux measures illumination at a measurement point, so those figures should not be presented as total lumens or a guaranteed result on every truck.
Can I use the GM numbers to check my original lamps?
Compare 84738616, 84738617, 85149467, 85133185 or 85133187 with the original lamp, then confirm the truck’s trim, connector and mounting. A part reference is a useful cross-check, not a substitute for the 2024 exclusions.
Do the headlights still need an aim check?
Yes. Check the final low- and high-beam aim after the housings are secured and all functions work. Suspension or ride-height changes can affect the installed beam position even when the correct headlight assembly is used.
