Overview

The SS3 Flush Mount Pod Kit delivers unmatched performance in a compact 3-inch package. Featuring high-output LEDs and custom-engineered Total Internal Reflection (TIR) optics, the SS3 ensures nearly all light is directed exactly where it’s needed, drastically reducing glare and improving overall efficiency. Unlike conventional pods, the SS3’s optic also serves as its main lens, minimizing light loss and maximizing output. When paired with high-intensity LED chips, this design produces more effective illumination than other pods on the market using standard reflectors or lenses.

With the included flush mount bezel, the SS3 pod installs cleanly for a professional, OEM-style appearance.

Beam Patterns

All Stage Series beam patterns are optically simulated and designed for maximum functionality:

SAE Driving: 18°x8° rectangular spread, ideal for supplementing high beams or general illumination at high speeds.
SAE Fog: Wide 80° field of view, designed for maximum illumination in foggy or inclement weather.
Flood: 60°x60° spread for even, low-speed illumination—perfect for reverse lighting, work sites, or trailers.
Combo: 65°x25° combination of flood and driving optics for versatile coverage.

When installed in pairs and aimed according to local regulations, the Driving pattern meets SAE J581 standards, while the Fog pattern meets SAE J583, making them legal for on-road use where applicable.

Stage Series LED pods are available in Sport or Pro configurations. The Sport model offers high-intensity LED output, while the Pro option doubles total power for maximum brightness.

Backlight Functionality

The SS3 pod features a built-in amber or red backlight, fully illuminating the TIR optic to create a distinctive accent when not in full operation. The included harness allows you to wire the backlight to any auxiliary or running light circuit for easy integration.

Simple Installation

Each pod comes with a custom-molded Deutsch DT connector and a 6-inch pigtail with bare leads. For installation, you can wire it yourself, use an off-the-shelf Deutsch DT harness, or select an optional Diode Dynamics harness. The Light Duty Dual Output Harness powers up to two SS3 pods, while the Heavy Duty Dual Output Harness with a splitter can support more.
