Install FORM Tacoma tail lights
A straightforward illustrated replacement for the red FL0019 and smoked FL0018 pairs.
Prepare the truck
Use a ratchet and 10mm socket. Park securely, switch the lights and vehicle off, and lower the tailgate. FORM’s procedure starts on the passenger side; repeat it on the driver side after the first lamp is tested.
1. Remove and unplug the original lamp
Remove the upper and lower 10mm bolts beside the lamp. Hold the top and bottom of the assembly and pull it rearward to release its two retaining clips. Support it while the wiring is still attached.
Unplug the three factory wiring connectors from the back of the original lamp.
2. Connect, seat and test the FORM lamp
Connect the three original plugs to their matching connections on the FORM lamp. Align it with the opening and push it into place until the retaining clips engage.
Test the lights before tightening the bolts: parking lights and startup sequence, brakes, turn signals, hazards and reverse lights. Once the functions work correctly, reinstall the two 10mm bolts. Repeat the procedure for the driver-side lamp.
