Which factory light setup does A0002 replace?
It is intended for a factory-riveted, recessed 4-inch bunk or sleeper work-light position that matches the adapter. Inspect the installed housing rather than choosing by truck make alone.
Will it fit a screw-mounted or rivnut-mounted bunk light?
No. The source explicitly excludes screw-mounted lights, factory rivnuts and 3157-style conversions. Those mounting systems should not be treated as interchangeable with the riveted setup.
What comes with one adapter?
One polished stainless-steel bunk adapter plate with pre-installed front and rear rubber seals is listed. The watermelon light and new installation rivets are not included.
Does installation require removing the original rivets?
Yes. The original rivets are drilled out and the adapter is mounted with suitable new rivets. Confirm the recess and hole arrangement before beginning; do not assume another mounting system can be converted without additional work.
How should the seals be fitted?
The front and rear seals must sit correctly against clean, matching surfaces. Inspect their condition and seating during installation; the presence of seals alone is not a guarantee against every leak.
Which light should I pair with the adapter?
