A kit built around the job
Aim for the trail ahead
The hood-corner position lets you aim auxiliary light along the sides and forward of the vehicle. Choose the appropriate pattern and avoid illuminating the hood or dazzling other road users.
Separate accent and main lighting
The main beam stays White or Yellow as ordered. The separate Amber backlight offers an accent function; it does not turn a single-colour main beam into a dual-colour lamp.
A matched mounting and wiring set
RAV4 brackets use the existing hood-hinge locations. The supplied relay harness and extension support a complete wired installation, with careful hood alignment and cable routing.

Plan the installation before you begin
Support and mark the hood-hinge positions before fitting the brackets. Protect the paint, maintain hood alignment and make sure the passenger-side washer-fluid line is not pinched. Mount and aim the pods, then secure the harness away from heat and moving parts. The guide routes the switch wiring through the factory firewall grommet and a cabin switch blank; this is a wired installation.
Follow the illustrated RAV4 installation guide
The guide has a separate hybrid-vehicle power connection at the fuse-box post. Follow that instruction for the applicable vehicle and confirm full hood travel before completing the job.

Diode Dynamics provides a limited lifetime warranty for this product for eligible purchases from April 15, 2025. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Before you order
Is this wireless or a no-firewall-wiring kit?
No. The brackets use existing hood-hinge locations, but the supplied harness needs power and switch wiring. Follow the factory-grommet and cabin-switch routing in the installation guide.
Do I get both White and Yellow from one lamp?
No. These four selections have a fixed White or Yellow main beam. Amber is a separate accent backlight.
Does the kit fit a 2026 RAV4?
No. This kit is for the 2019–2025 RAV4.
Can it go through an automatic car wash?
No. Diode Dynamics specifically advises against automatic car washes with this ditch-light kit fitted.
What warranty applies?
Eligible Diode Dynamics lamps have a limited lifetime manufacturer warranty; commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Bundled wiring and accessories follow their own terms. Proof of purchase and the manufacturer’s claim requirements apply.
