Choose the correct heated XB Evo for your Ram 1500, HD & Classic
The LF2-520 application includes specified Ram 1500 and HD trucks and the later 1500 Classic. The Classic name and Canadian vehicle specification are important selection details, not optional labels.
The verified standard heated LF2-520 application covers Ram 1500/HD 2009–2018 and Ram 1500 Classic 2019–2024. Do not treat a later Classic year as coverage for every new-generation Ram 1500 from that year.
Canadian-spec trucks require the separately sold LF2-520HCA adapters. This requirement follows the vehicle specification rather than the store where you order. Check the original headlight configuration, connectors and adapter instructions in the exact LF2-520 manual.

Frost-Free operation for this assembly
These selected standard assemblies use a dedicated 50W ceramic heater and circulation fans to help mitigate snow and ice buildup while driving. The requested-on state resets with each ignition cycle; operation also depends on the model’s temperature and control conditions.
Read the Frost-Free activation guide for the four-flash request, confirmation signals and model-specific qualifications. Clear heavy overnight accumulation before driving. Hybrid and XRGB variants do not inherit heating from the Evo name.

- Confirm the exact model, production year and body style.
- Identify the original headlight type and compare the exact manual’s connector path.
- Check supplied versus separately sold adapters and any physical installation requirements.

Does the 2019–2024 Classic range include every Ram 1500?

Are LF2-520HCA adapters required only when buying from the Canadian store?
No. The manual specifies the requirement for Canadian-spec vehicles. Ordering through a US store does not remove the vehicle’s adapter requirement.
