Apply clear film to 4Runner XB Evo headlights
Check LF2-531 or LF2-531Y on the headlights and LMX2-531 on the film package. The original diagrams below show a general round-lens technique; they do not show the 4Runner pre-cut outline.
Check the cut and prepare the lens
Leave the backing attached while checking the left and right shapes against the headlights. Clean the lenses thoroughly and work away from dust and direct heat. Follow the instructions supplied with the film for preparation and application solution.

1. Lightly mist and position
The original diagram shows peeling the backing and lightly misting the adhesive with water. Hold the edges and align the cut without pulling it out of shape.

2. Smooth from the centre
Press the centre gently, then work outward with even pressure to move trapped water toward the edges. Keep checking alignment as the film settles.

3. Finish lifting areas carefully
If needed, the general instructions allow gentle blow-dryer warmth to help a lifting area conform. Avoid overheating the film or lens. Follow the supplied directions for handling tabs and curing before washing.

Keep the original instructions
Open the original two-page Lamin-X application PDF. If the cut does not align, keep the adhesive protected and ask BTS for help before trimming it.
