A New Spin on the Classic “Watermelon” Light
Love the look of old-school watermelon beacons? The Alpha 360™ Emergency Watermelon Light takes that vintage vibe and turns it into something totally new. Same glass lens starburst magic, but now with three selectable modes that keep you in control of the show. It’s built to be the star of your rig — not another generic beacon in the crowd.
This is the perfect light for show trucks, pickups, parade rigs, and custom builds. Whether you’re parked in the spotlight or lighting up a meet, the Alpha 360 is here to make sure all eyes are on you. For off-road and display use only — not for street use where prohibited.
Three Modes, Endless Show Possibilities
-
Steady Burn: A solid, glowing light for a constant, clean look.
-
Rotating Simulation: LEDs fire in sequence to create that classic spin without any moving parts.
-
Strobe Flash: Rapid “hyper-flash” that mimics a strobe for high-energy display moments.
Each mode has its own dedicated power wire plus a shared ground. And with built-in logic, if two modes get power at once, the light picks the most eye-catching one automatically (strobe beats spin, spin beats steady).
Built to Turn Heads, Built to Last
-
Premium Glass Lens: Real “watermelon” glass with faceted design for a crisp star pattern.
-
Sealed Construction: Fully enclosed electronics, weather-resistant build.
-
Low Draw, High Impact: About 12W total — efficient enough to run at a show all night.
-
Multi-Voltage: Works with both 12V and 24V setups.

Compare single-colour Amber with the other Alpha 360 watermelon lights. The optional Alpha Six Switch provides accessory switching for nominal 12V or 24V installations; wire and protect the light’s separate mode circuits to the light and panel instructions. For a compatible 12V-class installation, the Diode Dynamics D-Switch is another optional control choice, rated for 9–16V only; it is not a 24V panel. Review the watermelon light mounting and wiring guide before choosing the mount and wiring route.
Product questions and answers
Does this Alpha 360 light change between amber and white?
No. This is the amber version. For amber steady output with alternating amber/white action modes, compare the separate Alpha 360 Duo Amber/White.
What are the three modes on the Alpha 360 Amber?
The modes are steady burn, rotating simulation and strobe flash. Rotating simulation uses sequential LEDs rather than a motor.
How many wires does it use, and what happens if two modes are powered?
The light uses four wires: one shared ground and three separate mode power leads. Strobe takes priority over rotating simulation, and rotating simulation takes priority over steady. Follow the supplied wire identification when installing it.
Can I use the Alpha 360 Amber with a 24V system?
Yes. The product is listed for both 12V and 24V DC systems, with approximately 12 watts of power. Match the power supply and installation to the instructions supplied with the light.
Can it replace an OEM cab light without checking the mount?
No. Its listed mount is a two-bolt flange, so compare the mounting arrangement and clearance first. The product is intended for off-road and display use, is not DOT approved, and is not for use on public roads where prohibited. A watermelon light bracket is a separate fitment decision.
