The optional Alpha Six Switch provides accessory switching for nominal 12V or 24V installations; wire and protect the light’s separate mode circuits to the light and panel instructions. Product questions and answers
Which colors does the Alpha 360 Duo Amber/White use in each mode?
Steady mode uses amber. The rotating-simulation and strobe modes alternate amber and white. This is the Amber/White version; choose the color combination you need before ordering.
Does the rotating mode use a motor?
No. The LEDs illuminate in sequence to simulate rotation. There is no mechanically rotating light source.
How are the three modes selected?
The light has four wires: one shared ground and a separate power lead for each mode. If more than one mode receives power, strobe takes priority over rotating simulation, which takes priority over steady. Follow the supplied wire identification rather than assuming wire colors.
Can the Alpha 360 Duo operate on both 12V and 24V?
Yes. BTS lists 12V and 24V DC operation and approximately 12 watts of power. Check the supply and the instructions supplied with the light when planning the circuit.
Is this an approved replacement for a factory cab marker light?
