The SS3 Combo pattern combines forward reach with side coverage for off-road use. Choose output and colour to suit the route.

Amber accent backlight provides an accent function independently of the main beam. Use the included harness and current instructions.

Other lights, racks and vehicle accessories shown in photographs are not included. The selected SKU determines the supplied lamp pair.

Plan the installation before the trail
Mark the hood-hinge position. Loosen the factory hinge nuts without removing them, slide the RIGHT bracket beneath the nuts and adjust it so the wiper clears with the hood closed. Re-tighten with the hinge aligned. Fit the LEFT bracket between the washer-fluid line and the hood. Route the harness beneath the rain catch, through the fender space and behind the hinges as shown in the guide; connect the DT plugs, battery supply and grounds, aim the pods and secure all wiring. The bolt-on claim applies to bracket mounting. Plan the switch and backlight wiring separately using the DD4093 harness instructions; retain its relay, fuse and battery connections. Check clearance and function before driving.

Diode Dynamics provides a limited lifetime warranty for this product for eligible purchases from April 15, 2025. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Before you order
What exactly do I get?
One SS3 pair for both sides of the hood, the DD7594P vehicle bracket kit, one DD4093 heavy-duty dual-output 4-pin harness and installation hardware. This is not a brackets-only listing.
Does White or Yellow change the backlight?
White or Yellow selects the main beam. Both choices have a separate Amber accent backlight; this is not an RGB or colour-changing main beam.
Can I use these as road lights?
The above-hood Combo arrangement is intended for off-road use. The SAE J575 durability test is not a blanket road-use approval for this installation. Keep normal headlamps and required road lighting in service.
Do I need to drill the hood?
The mounting brackets use factory hood-hinge hardware. Electrical switch installation and wire routing are separate tasks; review the harness guide and your vehicle before starting.
Can I use an automatic car wash?
No. The manufacturer says not to use automatic car washes with this kit installed.
Does it fit a Rebel, TRX or Classic?
The manufacturer explicitly excludes Rebel and TRX. Its current product page lists 2019–2024 Ram 1500, but does not separately confirm Classic fitment. Contact BTS for confirmation before ordering for a Classic or modified hood.
What warranty applies?
Eligible lamps have a manufacturer limited lifetime warranty. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase and contact BTS for assistance; the complete manufacturer terms apply.
Are the kit photographs extra items I need to buy?
