A kit built around the job
A compact rear-lighting solution
The small C1 housings fit beneath the bumper using the supplied universal brackets and factory bolts. The White Flood beam adds a broad working area behind the truck.
Follow the factory reverse signal
The vehicle-specific adapter connects inline at the factory taillight connector. Use automatic mode to follow the reverse signal, manual override when appropriate, or Off.
Red accent backlight
The red backlight follows the running-light signal through the supplied wiring. It is an accent function; this kit is not being sold as an additional brake light or brake-strobe module.

- Two White Flood C1/SSC1 Standard pods: Sport (DD7154) or Pro (DD7155)
- One DD4102 Universal Reverse Light Wiring Harness with switch
- One DD7153 adapter harness for 2005–2015 Tacoma
- Two mounting brackets and hardware
- Zip ties and supplied connection accessories
The included universal harness also has a universal connection section. The exact Tacoma guide instructs you to disconnect that section and use the vehicle-specific adapter connection. Follow the guide instead of assuming every supplied connector must be used.

Plan the installation before the trail
Mount the brackets under the bumper using the factory bolts, then install the pods loosely for aiming. Connect the Tacoma adapter inline at the factory taillight harness and route the wiring securely under the vehicle. Connect the relay harness to battery power and ground. For cabin override, route through the firewall and mount the switch in the specified 19 mm hole. If override is not needed, the guide allows the switch to remain in automatic Position 1 in the engine bay. Aim and tighten the pods after testing all modes.

Manufacturer values for each C1 Flood pod. Raw lumens are emitter output, not measured delivered lumens. These specifications do not belong to the larger C2 2.0 option.

After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Before you order
Does the kit need bumper drilling?
The pod brackets use existing bumper bolts. The separate cabin-switch installation can require a 19 mm mounting hole and firewall routing, so “no drilling anywhere” would be misleading.
Do I have to install the override switch in the cab?
No. If you only want automatic reverse activation, the guide allows Position 1 and an engine-bay switch location. Secure it as the guide instructs.
Is this a C1R hitch light?
No. This is a pair of Standard C1 pods mounted under the bumper. It does not carry the separate C1R hitch light’s brake-light or strobe claims.
What warranty applies?
Eligible lamps have a manufacturer limited lifetime warranty. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase and contact BTS for assistance; the complete manufacturer terms apply.
Are the kit photographs extra items I need to buy?
