Useful light behind the vehicle
A Flood pattern spreads light across the area behind the Bronco. The lamps sit beside the spare tyre, with their aim adjusted during installation.
Reverse and accent functions
The supplied vehicle harness connects inline at the factory taillight wiring. White output follows reverse; the red backlights follow the taillights.
Manual control when you need it
The guide includes an optional factory-AUX connection for independent white-light control. That option requires additional routing and crimp connections; it is not automatic high-beam or brake-light operation.

Extension lug nuts may be supplied in black or silver. Shared mounting photographs may show C2 pods; the captions identify them. This page supplies the selected C1 kit, not an additional hitch-mounted brake light.

Plan the installation before the trail
Read the guide before removing the spare wheel. The procedure accesses the tailgate/cargo trim and taillight connector, routes the harness through the specified grommet and heat-shield area, and fits the bracket with the correct extension lug nuts. Retain the bottom factory lug as instructed. Secure wiring away from heat and moving parts, reinstall the spare and trim, then aim both pods. Optional AUX override needs further wiring and crimps in the locations identified by the guide.

Manufacturer figures are per pod. Raw lumens describe the LED source before optical losses, not measured light leaving the lamp. Installation photographs illustrate mounting; only an explicitly labelled exact-family comparison demonstrates that family’s beam.

After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Before you order
Does this work with the Raptor?
No. The manufacturer excludes Bronco Raptor. The bracket is designed around factory spare-wheel geometry; aggressive-offset wheels and aftermarket carriers require a fit check.
Will it work with halogen or LED taillights?
The manufacturer lists both OEM halogen and LED taillights for this 2021–2025 Bronco kit, excluding Raptor.
How do the white and red lights turn on?
With the harness installed as instructed, white output follows reverse and red accents follow the taillights. Optional AUX wiring can provide independent white-light control.
Is the optional AUX control plug-and-play?
The base kit uses an inline taillight harness. The optional AUX override needs additional wire routing and crimps shown in the guide.
Does it add a flashing brake light?
No. This kit provides reverse illumination and red accent backlights. It is not the separate C1R HitchMount brake/strobe product.
What warranty applies?
Eligible Stage Series pods have a manufacturer limited lifetime warranty for purchases from April 15, 2025. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Wiring and other accessories have their own terms; proof of purchase and the complete manufacturer conditions apply.
