Peterbilt’s Model 567 operator manual warns against LED replacement light sources in PACCAR headlamps: an incorrect bulb type can overheat because of the internal optics and may cause a fire. The 2024 Model 567 manual states that damage caused by unauthorized LED light sources is not covered by warranty. Installing aftermarket bulbs may affect warranty coverage for related headlamp damage.
