Diode Dynamics · Two matched bulbs
Match the emitter colour to the signal's job.
Choose a pair of Amber bulbs for the supported front turn-signal application, or Red for the supported rear turn and tail/brake applications. HP48, HP11 and XP80 offer distinct constructions and output levels. These are replacement bulbs, not complete lamp assemblies or White/Amber switchbacks.
Confirm the fit first
Match the original socket, lens colour and lighting function. On the 2016–2023 Tacoma, Amber is listed for front turn signals and Red for rear turn signals. Red HP48 and HP11 are listed for 2020–2023 tail/brake lamps; Red XP80 is listed for 2016–2019 tail/brake lamps, not the later tail application. Factory LED assemblies without a replaceable bulb are outside this fitment.
Choose your configuration
HP48 · 250 lumens per bulb
48 emitters with a diffusing cover. Diode describes this as a cosmetic upgrade.
HP11 · 310 lumens per bulb
Metal heatsinking, side and top emitters, nonpolar and CK-compatible design.
XP80 · 510 lumens per bulb
A metal heatsink and emitters arranged around the bulb. Check the exact position/year table before choosing it.

Installation planning
Test parking, turn, hazard and brake functions as applicable before refitting the lamp. An LED's lower electrical load can cause rapid flashing. For these Tacomas the source specifies resistor-based correction, one resistor per replaced turn-signal bulb. Use the exact circuit identification and safe mounting guidance in the installation guide; do not apply the front wire colours to the rear harness.

Questions before ordering
Can I select any colour for any Tacoma light?
No. Amber is the front-turn choice; Red matches the supported red-lens rear applications. Use the exact fitment table below the selection comparison.
Does the 510-lumen XP80 fit every listed tail lamp?
No. The current 2020–2023 Tacoma tail listing offers Red HP48 and HP11 only. XP80's tail application is 2016–2019; the separately listed rear-turn application covers 2016–2023.
Will the bulbs cure hyperflash by themselves?
No. The Tacoma's BCM-controlled turn signals need the source-qualified resistor solution when the lower LED load causes hyperflash.
Are these switchbacks?
No. These six choices are single-colour Amber or Red. The existing HP24 White/Amber switchback family is a separate product with its own daytime-running-light restriction.
