PURPOSEFUL LIGHTING
A kit built around the job
Light where you reverse
A wide Flood pattern helps illuminate the area behind the truck. TIR optics shape the output; choose the output tier rather than comparing unrelated lumen claims.
A separate red accent
The red backlights connect to the running/parking-light function. They do not change the white main-beam colour or add brake/strobe behaviour.
Mounting that fits the truck
The vehicle-specific steel brackets attach to existing underside bumper bolts, then carry the supplied pod brackets. The matching inline adapter avoids substituting the wiring from another generation.

Plan the installation before the trail
The vehicle-specific steel brackets attach to existing underside bumper bolts, then carry the supplied pod brackets. The vehicle adapter connects inline at the black 16-pin Molex Type A connector under the bed near the spare tire; temporary spare-tire removal may help access. The DD4102 universal relay harness requires battery power and ground. For an in-cabin override switch, route the switch wiring through the firewall and drill a 19 mm (3/4-inch) mounting hole. Protect, secure and fuse all wiring as the current instructions require.

CLEAR ANSWERS
Before you order
Does the white light turn on automatically in reverse?
Yes, with the supplied harness connected as instructed and its switch in Position 1. Position 2 provides manual override; the centre position turns the lights off. The red backlight uses a separate parking/running-light connection.
Do I need to drill or run wiring through the firewall?
The light brackets use existing bumper mounting points. An in-cabin manual override switch requires firewall routing and a 19 mm mounting hole. If manual override is not needed, the manufacturer guide allows the switch to remain in the engine bay in Position 1.
Is this the C1R brake/strobe hitch light?
No. This is a two-pod C1 Standard White Flood reverse-light kit with red accent backlights. It does not include the C1R HitchMount brake/strobe features.
What changes between Sport and Pro?
The pod output level changes. Both selections remain a two-pod C1 kit for 2015–2020 Ford F-150, with White Flood main beams and red backlights. The table lists the manufacturer’s current per-pod ratings.
Is the wiring the same as the 2021–2023 F-150 kit?
No. This 2015–2020 kit uses the DD7362 vehicle adapter at the under-bed 16-pin connector. The newer kit uses different brackets and a T-tap connection method. Order by the truck’s exact model year.
What warranty applies?
Eligible lamps have a manufacturer limited lifetime warranty. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase and contact BTS for assistance; the complete manufacturer terms apply.
Are the kit photographs extra items I need to buy?
The listed kit contents are supplied. Other vehicle lighting and accessories in installation photographs are separate. Select the exact kit SKU and follow the notes under each photograph.
