These specifications apply to the standard XB Evo assembly. Optional Supercharged drivers are separately sold and produce non-compliant intensity for road use in the US and Canada. Do not treat optional off-road output as the standard road configuration.
FROST-FREE SYSTEM
How to activate the heated headlight lens
The logic-controlled 50W ceramic heating element and circulation fans warm the housing to help mitigate lens frost, snow and ice buildup during driving.
- With the vehicle running, wait until the welcome sequence completes.
- Flash the high beams four times within four seconds. The ambient sensor must read at or below 5°C / 41°F, and the other operating conditions must be satisfied.
- Two return flashes indicate active heating and fans. One acknowledges the request with conditional standby.
The system monitors lens and heater temperatures and battery voltage. It starts off at every ignition cycle; request it again when needed. The same four flashes within four seconds manually disable it.
This is an aid during inclement driving, not a system intended to melt heavy overnight snow accumulation.
If the request is not acknowledged, the guide recommends turning off auto high beams and trying again.

Use the appropriate supplied adapters and any required separately sold components. Route the DRL harness and fuse tap as instructed; do not promise an entirely modification-free installation. Confirm all lighting functions and aim the headlights after fitting them.

Is the price for a pair?
Yes. This listing is for the driver-side and passenger-side headlight set, not one assembly.
Are all XB Evo variants heated?
No. This exact standard XB Evo SKU includes Frost-Free lens heating. Do not transfer the feature to Hybrid or XRGB variants.
Does Frost-Free turn on automatically?
No. Request it with four high-beam flashes within four seconds after the welcome sequence with the vehicle running. The sensor must read at or below 5°C / 41°F and operating conditions must allow heating. It defaults off after each ignition cycle.
Will it melt a heavy overnight snow covering?
The guide says it is intended to mitigate buildup while driving, not melt heavy overnight snow accumulation.
What should I check before ordering?
