A complete 4Banger 2.0 kit for the 2016–2023 Tacoma: two pods, BAF028 vehicle brackets, mounting hardware and a switched relay harness. Choose the power tier, colour and beam before you add it to the truck.
Built around the Tacoma mounting points
The BAF028 brackets attach at the existing hood-hinge bolts and include cable-management points to route the pod wiring into the engine bay. Their 304 stainless-steel construction and powder-coated finish support an installation that stays close to the hood corners.
Three choices define your exact kit
- Power tier
- NCS uses Nichia LEDs; HXB is the higher-power Osram HX Boost tier.
- Output colour
- White or yellow. The selected pod has a fixed output colour; these are not switchable Evo+ fog lights.
- Beam
- Choose Spot, Combo, SAE Wide or Flood.
- Spot
- A concentrated beam for distance; an off-road choice.
- Combo
- A balance of forward reach and surrounding spread for off-road driving.
- SAE Wide
- Broad, controlled near-field spread. A wide optic; A-pillar mounting is still auxiliary/off-road use.
- Flood
- Broad ambient coverage for low-speed work and close surroundings, rather than long-distance reach.
These lights mount above the bumper at the A-pillars. Use them for permitted auxiliary/off-road applications; a Wide pod’s fog-optic rating does not approve this mounting position for road fog-light use.

Check the truck before ordering
For the 2016–2023 Toyota Tacoma using the BAF028 hood-hinge mounting points. This is not the redesigned 2024 Tacoma bracket. Support and realign the hood during installation; the brackets sit beneath the bolt heads, not between the hinge and hood.

Keep the power wiring separate from the factory headlight wiring. Use the supplied switched harness and its instructions.

These complete-kit choices include the lights. The separate bracket-only product does not. Rubber blackout covers are not listed in these exact complete-kit contents; do not assume they are included.
The LED pods carry Morimoto’s limited lifetime warranty. The separate BAF000H harness has five-year coverage; manufacturer terms apply.

Product questions
Is this just a bracket kit?
No. Each selectable complete-kit SKU includes two pods, the vehicle brackets and the wiring specified above. Bracket-only items are separate.
Can the lights switch between white and yellow?
No. Select the fixed colour you want. For switchable fog lights, compare Morimoto Evo+.
Are all beams suitable for road fog-light use?
No. The SAE Wide option has the relevant fog photometrics when fitted and aimed in a supported fog-light position. Spot and Combo are off-road choices; A-pillar mounts are auxiliary/off-road use.
Are blackout covers included?
They are not listed in the exact complete-kit contents. Add them separately if required.
What is the difference between NCS and HXB?
They are separate LED power tiers. Choose by the beam and output you need; the site price and SKU update to the exact complete-kit selection.
