The Morimoto LFM78 XB LED mirror-light pair supplies amber sequential signals for the listed Toyota Tacoma and RAV4 applications. Smoked lenses use an anti-UV treatment. Match the existing mirror-light housings, mounting points and factory connections; these are lamp assemblies rather than complete side mirrors.
Fitment and original equipment
- Toyota Tacoma: 2016–2023.
- Toyota RAV4: 2019–2023.
- Requires matching original mirror-light housings and connections. A replacement or aftermarket mirror may differ from the factory equipment.
Before installation
Compare the installed light housing, mounting points and factory connector with the replacement before removing parts. Connect and test the applicable lighting functions on both sides before securing the assemblies. Follow the vehicle-specific installation procedure for the original mirrors.

Product questions and answers
Does LFM78 cover Tacoma years after 2021?
Yes. Morimoto’s current exact-part listing gives a 2016–2023 Tacoma range. Check that the installed mirrors have the matching original lamp housings and connectors.
Which RAV4 years are included?
The current LFM78 manufacturer listing gives 2019–2023 Toyota RAV4. The range is finite; do not interpret an older 2019+ description as covering every later RAV4.
Are these white switchback mirror lights?
No. The LFM78 specification lists amber sequential output. Smoked describes the lens appearance, not a white-light function.
Does the set replace both sides?
Yes. It contains two mirror-light assemblies, one pair. It does not include the entire side mirrors.
What happens if my mirrors have been changed?
Compare the installed lamp shape, mounting points and connectors before ordering. An aftermarket or replacement mirror may not use the same lamps as the original equipment.
What lens treatment does the set have?
Morimoto specifies an anti-UV lens treatment and a smoked lens appearance. Follow normal cleaning and care practices rather than treating the coating as protection against every kind of damage.
