Choose a compact SMF2 or a higher-output HP6 for a matching 31 mm interior festoon holder. Cool White, Warm White, Blue, Red and Amber offer both models; Green is SMF2 only. One bulb is supplied per selection.
Confirm the fit first
Measure the original bulb and confirm holder and lens clearance. Diode lists the 2016 Tacoma dome application with an explicit warning that some trucks use a different size, and links to a 29 mm alternative. Model year alone is not a reliable substitute for checking the original bulb.

Installation planning
Compare the original bulb's end-to-end size before fitting. Remove the lens using its intended release point and test the new bulb before closing the lamp. If the bulb is loose or requires force to seat, stop and confirm the holder size; do not use repeated terminal bending to compensate for the wrong bulb length.
