For a matching 29 mm festoon holder with adequate clearance. Diode lists the 2017–2023 Tacoma dome location, but explicitly asks owners to check the original bulb size because some trucks use a different length. Do not substitute this for a measured 31 mm bulb.

Installation planning
Measure and compare the original bulb before fitting. Use a non-marring trim tool at the lamp's release point, allow the original bulb to cool, and test the LED before refitting the lens. If it does not illuminate, switch off the light and reverse its orientation. The holder must grip the bulb securely without forcing it.

Is 29 mm guaranteed by my truck's model year?
No. The manufacturer lists a 2017–2023 Tacoma application with an explicit original-size check. Inspect your own dome bulb.
Can I buy a complete interior set instead?

Is the SMD12 option another 29 mm festoon?
No. SMD12 is a separate rectangular panel using a socket adapter and requires enough room inside the lamp.
