The C2 2.0 kit packages two low-profile pods with Tacoma-specific hood brackets and a heavy-duty harness. It keeps the installation compact while adding a wide Combo beam and independent amber accent lighting.

A kit built around the job
Compact above the hood
The rectangular C2 2.0 pod gives the installation a lower visual profile than an SS3. Vehicle-specific stainless brackets use the Tacoma’s original hood-hinge mounting points.
Match your main beam
Choose Sport or Pro and a fixed White or Yellow main beam. Combo optics balance forward illumination with useful spread; aim for the terrain you need to see.
A separate amber accent
Amber backlighting illuminates the optic at lower intensity. It is a separate function from the White or Yellow main beam and needs the appropriate harness/control connection.

Plan the installation before the trail
Mark and support the hood, then fit the Tacoma brackets at the factory hinge mounting points. Assemble the C2 pod mounts using the instructions supplied with the C2 2.0 pods; the linked vehicle video demonstrates the shared bracket installation using SS3 pods. Align the hood, check clearance and aim the lights. Connect power and controls through the supplied harness instructions and secure the loom away from heat and moving parts.

After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Before you order
How is this different from the SS3 kit?
The C2 2.0 uses a smaller rectangular pod. The SS3 kit is a separate product with a larger pod and its own output specifications. Both versions use brackets for this Tacoma generation.
Why are there two beam labels in the selector?
White variants are labelled Combo/Driving and Yellow variants Combo. Select the complete output, beam and colour combination above; the SKU table identifies each kit.
Will the brackets interfere with the hood?
The supplier designed the brackets around the factory hood and hinge points. Correct bracket positioning and final clearance checks are still necessary, especially with other aftermarket parts.
What warranty applies?
Eligible lamps have a manufacturer limited lifetime warranty. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. Bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase and contact BTS for assistance; the complete manufacturer terms apply.
