A kit built around the job
A useful Combo beam
The SS3 Combo/Driving optic combines forward reach with a broad spread for trail edges and terrain. Aim the pods for the intended off-road use rather than toward other drivers.
Choose output and colour
Sport and Pro use the same compact SS3 format with different output levels. White is 6000K; selective yellow is 3000K. The selected main-beam colour is fixed, not switchable.
Amber when you want an accent
The amber backlight is separate from the main beam. Use the included harness and an appropriate trigger/control connection; the main beam takes priority while illuminated.

The Standard SS3 pods supplied in these kits are not the separately sold flush-mount version. Covers, extra pods and other truck accessories in installation photos are not included.

Plan the installation before the trail
Mark the original hood-hinge position and support the hood while removing the mounting bolts. The brackets reuse the factory hinge points. Set clearance, restore hinge alignment and aim the pods before final tightening. The bracket installation itself needs no cutting or drilling. Finish the electrical installation using the supplied relay harness instructions; mounting the lights is only one part of the job.

Diode Dynamics provides a limited lifetime warranty for this product for eligible purchases from April 15, 2025. Commercial, industrial and fleet use is limited to 8 years. After the first 3 years, covered products require return for inspection and repair or replacement at the manufacturer’s discretion. Coverage applies to the specified lamp or component; bundled wiring and accessories follow their own published terms. Keep proof of purchase. Manufacturer approval and an RMA are required before return; labor and normal wear are excluded. Shipping obligations vary by location. Does the kit fit a 2024 Tacoma?
No. This kit is for the 2016–2023 generation. Use a separately verified 2024+ application.
Can I use an automatic car wash?
Diode Dynamics specifically advises against automatic car washes with this Tacoma ditch-light kit installed.
Are White and Yellow switchable on the same pod?
No. Choose the fixed main-beam colour when ordering. Both choices have a separate amber backlight.
What warranty applies?
