Make the factory red tail light your turn signal
The Tail as Turn module changes the rear signalling arrangement while retaining the factory taillight assemblies. Optional packages convert the former turn-signal position to additional white reverse light.
Check your year and equipment
2014–2024 Toyota 4Runner with USDM factory taillight wiring. Modules fit the listed TRD models, but the Stage 2 XPR backup-bulb package is not for TRD Pro or TRD Off-Road.
Choose the package you need

Stage 1 and Stage 2 use the former turn-signal sockets for additional reverse output. They do not include a second set of 921 bulbs for the original reverse-light sockets.
Understand the two installation stages
The modules install inline at the factory taillight connectors. The additional-backup conversion is a separate step: connect the specified module lead to its green reverse wire using the supplied connector and install compatible white LED bulbs.
Use LEDs for the additional-backup conversion. The manufacturer specifically warns that incandescent bulbs draw too much power in this arrangement. The module resistors can become hot during prolonged turn-signal operation.

The Tail as Turn modules carry a three-year limited manufacturer warranty. Any supplied bulbs remain subject to their applicable Diode Dynamics bulb terms; no lifetime-kit claim is made.

Questions before ordering
Does Modules Only include white backup bulbs?
No. Choose a Stage package if you need the listed white LEDs, or source the correct compatible LEDs separately.
Do the modules fit TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road?
The modules support the listed USDM models, including TRD. The Stage 2 XPR bulb package has the separate TRD Pro/TRD Off-Road exclusion.
Will this work with any aftermarket taillight?
That is not established by the factory-wiring application. Confirm connector and internal lamp compatibility before combining it with an aftermarket assembly.
